Painting at Neal's Lodges
Neal's Lodges has been hosting a porcelain arts gathering for 44 years. Always in May, these two weeks are filled with demonstrations, time to paint, instruction from people who are wonderful artist, good food, relaxing atmosphere and fellowship among other painters. Our guests have an option of how long they would like to stay. For the year 2008 the weeks are as follows: May 11 - May 16 and the second week is May 18 - May 23. For more Info click here. |

Gift Shop Neal's Gift Shop has opened this spring with a great selection of t-shirts, hats, jewelry, bird feeders, bird houses, garden decorations and toys. Hours this summer will be 10am to 8pm. Come by and we are sure you will find something you can't live without.    |
The Rugged Cross is opened for the summer season from 9:30 to 5:30 and is located just west of Neal's store on 127. The store has many gift and decorator items for the home and patio. Pewter, silver, wrought iron and jewelry are just some of what you will see. Gift certificates are available and call 830-591-3230 or 830- 486-7278 if you have any questions.

Neal's Lodges newest cabin has just been built and is ready for visitors this summer. Cabin 50 is located across the highway from the store in a secluded grove of trees. It has 2 bedrooms, 2 full baths a fireplace and kitchen plus a patio with bbq, tables and a fire pit. Also new this summer are 4 RV spaces.

State Bank of Uvalde - Concan Branch has opened just down the
road from Neal's,it's open 9:00 -2:30 M-F and has a 24 hour drive
thru ATM. Attached is a full service Post Office open 7:30 - 12:00,
1:00 - 3:30 M-F and 9:00 - 10:00 Sat. |

Check
out the the new addition to Neal's Cafe.
Neal's Cafe has undergone a major remodel and will be open on weekends
only till Memorial Day (Friday 5:30p - 8:30p - Saturday 8:00a -
2:00p and 5:30p - 8:30p - Sunday 8:00a - 2:00p) The original dinning
room is still there but the new dinning room will double the seating
area and it has a large native stone fireplace for those cool Hill
Country evenings. Also the patio overlooking the Frio will be covered
for your comfort. The kitchen has been enlarged but the meals will
be as good as ever. Come by and see for yourself.
